I like to keep up with what’s going on in and around Niseko but the Japanese don’t seem to go in much for fanfares. Whilst looking at the stunning ice sculptures in Niseko this morning, I first saw one with just numbers on it: 76.2. I didn’t have a clue what it was referring to until I saw another sculpture with “Niseko Radio” on it and behind that, lo and behold, a building with Niseko Radio on it.
The building is brand new and it looks as if they are still setting up. They don’t seem to be on air at the moment so I can’t tell you what they are broadcasting but I guess we shall just have to stay tuned and we’ll find out.
